It has been in the works for almost 7 years now. This remake of the original game is probably the most ambitious project the studio has ever worked on. Hence, it makes total sense that one of the studios’ remakes is of System Shock. After Kick was unable to buy the second game in the series, he came up with the idea of Nightdive. The studio that now remakes old games was only built due to the original System Shock’s unavailability.
